Erin Timperley: Founder

Rewind twelve years before there was college or even high school. To a young Erin whom at the time was 12 years old. It was then that she decided she wanted to help others. In 2001 Erin came up with idea to get all of her friends and family to donate toys to her. Instead of keeping them for herself she would pass them out to kids who were sick. She convinced her cousin Allie to help her run the organization and together they decided to donate to Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. The very same hospital in which Erin’s brother Joel was treated for Non Hodgkins Lymphoma ( a type of cancer) when he was seven years old. Giving back to the very same hospital that saved his life seemed to be the most fitting choice.
